Absolutely do it! May or Oct is best! Be careful there too. It can be quite dangerous. Some places, 1 slip and you are a goner!

Thanks, man! I agree. What a tragedy, but Oregon and Washington still have thousands more precious oasis waterfall areas to be explored and photographed. Maybe we will see more originality in the coming few years from these less frequented locations...

Sorry about being extremely tardy in my responses. My travels in 2018 were beyond rigorous. I decided to do a slight revision here and then reply to those I hadn't.

Thank you so much, Keith. I agree about the PNW. I do not live there anymore but still do the peak of Spring and Peak of Fall workshops, as well as visit all my family and friends. It always blows my mind! Living in Florida is not quite the same.

Huge thank you. A touch of localized sharpening (or even dodging) in just the right areas, I believe, makes the eye more apt to look into certain areas.

IMO, there is nothing like the diversity of landscape there. Also, I have a newsletter people can join if they want to know what is going on. I give out Valuable FREEBIES with every newsletter (the one I sent out a few days ago had a free brand New Video Tutorial entitled "Mastering Color Balance and White Balance". The letter goes out about every 1 or 2 months.

All the best out there. Your work has been VERY inspirational lately! Keep up the great work!

That last waterfall in your workshop page is amazingly lovely!

Like both, hard to say but 2nd looks slight and I mean very slight less saturated or less contrast in the yellow tones. See it in the water foreground bottom right and also in some of the yellow leaves mid image right.

But the again i’ve old eyes.

Thank you for the feedback. Yes, I just produced a free video tutorial about color balance and white balance and the revision here has a more accurate color balance as well as slightly less saturation. You have a a great eye!
