Just got back from a two week trip through Iceland. This time using a camper van - which made it "easier" to chase the weather, avoid the crowds and test my camping skills.
An exhausting trip - +3500 miles in 14 days - the objective was to try and come up with different views relative to my first trip. The weather was generally cooperative (the midnight sun did not disappoint), the crowds were certainly there (although they tended to be out while I tried to sleep) and my camping skills need more practice.
As for the crowds - yes, the island is full of tourists - but I often found myself alone after 11:00pm - and certainly it was easy to get away from the few that were around by simply walking a few hundred yards.
A set of 5 images - thanks for taking a look.
