Took a night after work and went up to sparks lake, not really expecting much with the weather. I was just checking on how it looked after the thaw out. Sometimes you just get lucky. Lots of water in the lake right now. I am not sure I have seen it like this for a long time. Let me know what you think! thanks for looking

Very nice all by itself.

It would also be nice to see a telephoto of that "erupting mountain" with the island of trees in front.

Hi Bart, thanks for the suggestion. I tried playing with a tighter crop but couldn't find a composition that I liked. I agree it would have been a cool capture, I was pretty well focused on the wide angle shot while I was out there.

This is a super composition... you had beautiful light here and made the most of it. If possible, it would be nice to get a bit more detail in the trees that are emerging from the lake.
