p.1 #1 · p.1 #1 · Sol Duc - Lush and green

According to the experts, the Olympic Peninsula forest is especially lush and green this summer. It was my first time there, so for my Arizona-burned eye, it looked simply fabulous.

Here are few images from the Sol Duc area:

Very nice Sasha. I like how you found the intimate details. I'd probably walk right pass them without noticing.

Hey Sasha,

I do really like #1. A beautiful scene there. I like what you were going for in #2, but I wish there was a bit more at the bottom, it feels cut off.

Hi Sasha,

Really Like all three but especially #1 and #3.

Like #2 but have to agree with Jim the bottom really feels kind of cut-off too soon. Don't feel bad as it still is a very nice photo.

Oh I was here couple of weeks back and fell in love with this falls. Nice work on all of them.

Thank you, Jim. It was a part of outdoor session on Bruce Barnbaum Olympic Peninsula workshop, so the walk through the woods was very slow. A bunch of photographers were scattered along the trail, most on their four

Jim, thank you very much, I appreciate the critique. I reworked #2 a bit, please let me know if you like it better now.

Anand, maybe we met on a trail. Did you see a bunch of older folks crawling on their four, mostly around this little bridge?

Cheers,

Sasha.
