Can someone please explain where this piece can be found or what it's called?
I want to be able to mount a tilt head from Broncolor and clamp on the tilt head male directly, instead of using a set screw.

HELP!

Lollipop it may be, and I use them all the time. However, it serves no purpose as depicted in image #1: the large knuckle it supplies is being ignored. A lollipop does not create a new junior receiver, it merely extends the receiver it consumes. I also have the Manfrotto boom head in image #2, and it will drop directly into any junior stand.

Frankly, image #1 probably depicts a junior overhead stand, and the knuckle is inbuilt. I have one of those, too.

The gadget in your 2nd photo is the Impact Tilting Boom Pivot Clamp I believe.

No, the image I posted was the Manfrotto.
You can see the difference in quality of these Tilting Boom Pivot Clamps between Manfrotto and Impact.
The cheap impact has visible finish line pattern on the silver part of the unit.
This is a result from machining (usually down with a shell mill) whereas the manfrotto looks like it's machined and ground, hence why you see a smooth finish.

I'm a machinist, I deal with these things every day so I know what is quality and what is not.
You get what you pay folks, cheap Impact is made in China or something and Manfrotto is made in Italy...

Not sure, but i'd like one as well.

in the meantime my High Rollers from Kupo all have the female end that i can drop the tilt head directly into.
