This set was taken Saturday morning at the Oceanside Marine Nature Study Area on Long Island, NY. When I was told that the bird in my last photo was there I found it hard to believe though the sources were very reliable.

Morris, this is a super set some great images with terrific IQ, the feather details are great.

Gorgeous set....but I like the Egret dance and the one in flight the best!

They have been incredibly cooperative this spring. Now if they would simply feed there young in the open.

I learned that it has a damaged wing. I suspect it will survive the summer though it may be uncomfortable. I hope it's able to fly off with the geese as they pass through in the fall
