My fiance and I made a trip up to Grand Teton for a long Memorial Day weeekend, and while it was starting to get warmer and most of the Elk and Bison had migrated North into Yellowstone there were still quite a few stragglers hanging around.

1 - Change of wardrobe (Bison)

2 - Grazing with a view (Bison)

3 - Lookout (Uinta Ground Squirrel)

4 - Elk with attitude

5 - Scouting (Marmot)

6 - What are you looking at? (Marmot)

For me the first suffers subject confusion, probably better to crop at the top of the trees and louse the mountains. The second is a stunner and all that follow are quite good

Thanks Bob, ironically #2 was one of those "lets just try a quick wide angle shot for fun" and wasn't one which I anticipated getting in the end.

I gave it a shot and cropped it a little tighter, I agree it is stronger. Only thing I worry about is the image isn't the sharpest, so keeping it at full resolution is a little soft. Thanks for the suggestion.

Nice shots on all of them...The Tetons and surrounding areas are just simply amazing and somewhere I'd really like to spend a LOT of time in and around and just adventuring.

The Tetons is by far my favorite part of the country, between the Tetons and Yellowstone there's just so much variety of things to experience. This is why we're looking at a wedding in the park so we have an excuse for additional visits.
