Excellent photo, Ben. I've not done that trail, but hear it's pretty tough. Do you agree? How much of Whiie Rim did you do? (Last I knew, flooding had closed part of it.)

Rick Knepper and I did the whole trail last year in one day because we did not have camping permits. This year we had two nights, first night at Murphy's hogback and the second at Gooseberry. The Green river was flooding the lower sections this year so that side was closed.

It is fairly tough, worse than Cathedral Valley or Toreweap. It would be easy in your jeep.

The hard part is getting the permit. We both tried 3 nights running and most places fill up by one minute after midnight 40 days before the date chosen. I lucked out on the 2nd night and Rick on the 3rd night.

Thanks Scott. I took 800 images (lots of shots when I was doing panning). I finished about 60 but most were travel pics. I have maybe 4 I might print. This is one. Mesa Arch is another.

Hi Ben, Great photo! I am beginner in photography, I have a question. Every part of the photo is sharp, do you have to do focus stacking to bring every region in focus? Or was it a single photo with a low f/stop number?

The lens is sharp, nothing is close to me so the DOF is easy, this is an f8 shot at 15mm so focused about mid way into the scene.
