Found a path that allowed unobstructed views. That this is a 15 minute bike ride from my house blows me away. Love it here.

Yeah, the access to nature here is mindblowing. 15 minutes in the other direction (driving or more like 45ish biking) and I'm well into a 700 square kilometre provincial park. With somewhat increasing distances there's the coast of the Pacific Ocean, so on.

If you can withstand 5-6 months of decent amounts of rain, the Vancouver area is a nature lover's dream.

Thanks Dan. It really is pretty serene there. The nearby vicinity does have a steady stream of people, albeit a small one, but at times times you can find yourself being the only one walking around for an hour or so. It's cathartic.
