Agreed! Each one is wow wow wow, but the head plunge with reflection is stellar!
Much appreciated..it was a very chill bird and let me get quite close which enabled all those shots

Trirific action set Eric with 3 and 4 my picks as stand alone images.

Thanks for the pix picks...I could have watched this guy do this over and over but my DW and I were on a walk and I know my limits.

Great series, Eric. I especially like the in flight captures.
Scott
Thanks Scott...I didn't plan as well as I could with the white feathers underneath....I think that's where knowing one's subject plays a big role...I probably should have underexposed the earlier shots in anticipation of needing to not blow out the whites...maybe next time.

Fantastic set Eric! I love them all, but the shots with the reflections are my favorites.
Birdie
Thanks...reflection shots seem to evoke a love-hate relationship...these worked for me as well this time

Karl
Aw, Karl...thanks buddy....I have been much more serious lately in my approach and really thinking about what I am trying to accomplish and giving myself the best chance for success....sometimes it works and other times not but am hoping to take some of the luck out of it. Now where are those pesky Russians that can help me win this weeks election
