In a year when we have, simultaneously, the most beautifully green and flowered coastal mountains in years as a result of an epic winter storm season, and the arguably most gorgeous section of that coast entirely inaccessible (three mudslides, a demolished bridge & two sections of Hwy 1 being rebuilt), I thought I'd offer up this tribute to some of the icons we all know and love from Big Sur, done ever so slightly differently . . .

very excellent images.

without looking at the exif data, i am guessing the hues from the last image are from a d800??

Canon 1Ds III. 21.7mp that I shot for 7 1/2 years until the 5Ds R came out.
