I went to Yosemite on my own in the middle of last week to see what the glut of water would create. The dogwoods were just starting to bud, so I imagine they'll be in full swing in about a week. Being alone I took an opportunity to scout new perspectives, and took advantage of the early bloom of the manzanitas in this area. This was a three image focus stack. C&C welcome and appreciated!

Great shot Tim, manzanitas look nice and the flow of the waterfall is great. Only comment I would make and this is just my opinion. Maybe lower your watermark a little closer to the bottom as I think it's a little distracting where it currently is.

Great framing of the falls.

Really like the color and composition, however, agree with RMC cichlids on your watermark.

Thanks for commenting Kurt, Bob, Maji, and Jon. I'll take the watermark under advisement. I generally try to keep it very low opacity.

Not much snow, so I am surprised considering the record snowpack at the Sierra. Which waterfall is this? Dogwoods and redbuds should peak around first week of May, according to my photo archives.

Hi Dennis,

Snowpack above 7,000 peak is very high (projections on Tioga pass opening are very late. You'll probably need snowshoes into late June.

This is Bridalveil from a trail on the northern bit of the Valley. Dogwoods probably aren't quite ready, and I didn't notice any budding redbuds while I was visiting.
