Lots of images of this place popping up here. Too many flowers to comprehend. This was the last week of March 2017. Enjoy!

WOW... Carrizo is perhaps the winner is this year's wildflowers production... I think a panoramic crop by lessening the sky will make it a stronger image.

Thank you for sharing,
Maji

Very nice, Jeffrey. I drove out that way last week and almost hit some people standing in the middle of the road, taking selfies with the flowers!

I know the flower displays are beautiful, but that doesn't mean you abandon all common sense when around them.

Beautiful, Jeffery. Those puffy clouds balance out the image nicely.

It very nice. like the drop as it is, as the clouds add a lot.

Not to divert the thread, but I saw the same thing, including on the narrowest part of Hwy 58, where it winds through the narrow canyon just before Carrizo. People had actually parked their van in the middle of the highway and gone off to photograph the flowers! Then a semi-truck hauling a bull-dozer came around the bend preceded, luckily, by a "WIDE LOAD" escort truck. Suddenly there were lots of sirens and flashing lights. Thank god the haulers were safety trained, or the bull-dozer would have had to scrape the idiot photographers off the pavement.

This whole thing was repeated at the junction of Elkhorn Rd and Hwy 58, where multiple photographers were parked halfway on the road, with their open car doors extending well into the roadway. More lights and sirens as the clueless photographers raced to to shut their doors.

I wonder if there's a class action Darwin Award?

To return to the thread, this is a very nice composition with the well-defined clouds instead of a monotonous blue sky. It's hard to photograph the flat fields of flowers in an interesting way, but you did it. Beautiful image.

Incredible Jeffrey. I second the suggestion to crop just a bit more of blue off the top for a more panoramic aspect ratio without losing any of the perfectly formed storm clouds that make this such a wonderful shot.

Can't wait to see some more of your work from this season's epic bloom. Have you got any with the violets and pinks that have been popping up in other pix?

What a horrible year to be stuck in Arizona knowing Carrizo only goes off like this once a decade!!

KUDOS to you for capturing it so masterfully.

Nice Jeffrey! I haven't made it down there, probably will be gone by the time I do. It's a mega explosion this year!

Great color contrast Jeffrey, and composition. I would like to visit there some day. Where is Corrazo?

Great shot and great clouds. I was there Friday -- pretty much clear skies, was hoping to get some puffys.
