I had a little time yesterday afternoon, so I spent about an hour in the blind waiting on something interesting to come to the feeders. I was hoping the Pine Warbler and the Bluebird would show up. I don't have any photos of either. The warbler was a no show, but I did manage to get several nice shots of the Bluebird. There were a few others that were kind enough to pose for me. The last shot is a bonus from Friday. I think she was born last spring. I appreciate everyone looking, and comment if you'd like ~ Ron

1- Mr Bluebird would not turn around for a full frontal.

2- These guys seem to prefer the ground.

3- This is the first year for this visitor.

4- I had this Downy, a Hairy, and a Redbellied visit yesterday, but the Downy was the only one that posed.

5- Cute little lady shot from just outside side door.

Super shots Ron. Love the bluebird for the rich colours and I really like the downy.

Well exposed, very sharp birdies, and the deer is good looking too. Looks to me, Ron old buddy, there is nothing left that I could teach you.

In fact, you could teach me a thing or two about bird feeder setups.

Is the downy a crop Ron? It's nothing as sharp as the others yet it's fine and the others have superb feather detail at 500x2. You did a terrific job on these and oh, deer is good as well.

really great, crisp, sharp shots. That top end gear is earning its keep for you, though the man behind it is the real reason it's so good.

Yes Morris - it is a crop. I think I missed focus just a tad, but I liked the shot. And thanx.
