While out exploring the San Rafael Swell area in Utah this past weekend I had the chance to photograph these very weird rock formations. I have tried to do some research on what exactly they are but I haven't really found much. These are only about 4-6inches tall and they are only found in about a 2ftx4ft area in some very remote country. Anyone know anything else about them?

Hey Brock,

That's interesting, unlike anything I have seen out there. You had a nice sky to compliment the rocks.
