This lovely but twisted road goes down through Winnats Pass in the Peaks District, UK. I went there for sunrise and found some clouds, a little bit of light peeking through and some colors in the sky.
Looking down, I found much more to be excited about: green like I never see covering all the hills, crags and slopes.
Here are two shots from the pass, one from a road level and the other from high up on the canyon precipice.

The second one is simply breathtaking. The vivid green, contrasting with the mist/fog in the distance and the color in the sky, along with the perception of depth, is amazing.

Beautiful work, like #1, a lovely road picture, love that soft vivd green and the beautiful folds in that center section. #2 is quite special too.

No green like that in southern Utah. It's pretty amazing when it's everywhere and nobody else seems to be impressed. My eyes have adjusted to the red and orange land here. Anything different surprises me.
