My usual fare is wolves and grizzlies but the grizzlies are napping and I am too busy at work to look for wolves.

5 - You have to be desperate to look for squirrels :)

7 - Same with heavily cropped Norther Hawk Owls in bad light :)

Great series...the little big horn is really wonderful...kids always look extra special....loving the hawk owl...these guys always look at you like you stole something from them.

I'm a birder, so I liked the hawk owl, which I haven’t seen one of yet. How much did you crop? I liked the squirrels, as well.

You're lucky to have such a nice range of photographic options. I like the all of them but particularly #2 and the owl.

Hawk owls are always special; a real northern bird. And the sheep in the snow are also lovely.
Those bears will be awake before you know it!!

dclark: Yes - I get spoiled. I can find bighorn sheep almost any day and usually moose whenever I want. I am lucky but I get complacent. And the Northern Hawk Oil is only 15 minutes from my house. Glad you like 2 and the owl. Thanks for the feedback and the reminder. Much appreciated. Scott
