We headed up on Sunday at 2 am for sunrise despite the call for limited clouds. The meadows had 6 inches of water, a layer of ice, and several inches of snow. It made for some interesting views

Hey Tim.

I like both of these. That faint, left over golden color in #1 is pretty nice, and those clouds add some nice detail. I like the look of the B&W in #2 and I think it really adds to the mood.

I really like the second one. I like the sense of scale it creates. Very nice.

Both are great Tim. Great compositions. On the first, I wish the clouds were on the other side but it's hard to control nature.

For the comp on #1 I thought about running to the left to reposition the clouds, but they were moving so fast, and I doubted I could find a group of grass that worked in the composition quickly enough. Oh well, there's always other opportunities.
