What size to post has become tricky due to the large variation in monitors people use. 1080 vertical is most common yet 4k monitors are becoming popular with 2160 vertical. We can't forget those with laptops that have smaller displays. I wish we could post content aware as that the modern way.

I went for the middle after spending some time over on the landscape forum where large is what is usual

Morris I have a 24" desk top monitor but it's deeper than most maybe that's the reason they look so large.

Hi Tim,

Physical size is not what matters, it's the resolution as measured in vertical and horizontal pixels, mostly vertical.

I seem to have found a size that works for most which is 1400 x 930
