My wife and I spent Christmas day xc skiing at Crater Lake. Beautiful day for skiing, cold and clear. I kept it simple, shooting handheld all day. Most of the day I shot with an eye for black and white conversions (check those out over on the Black and White board if you want), but as the sun set I found some nice colors too. These are all multi shot panoramas, feedback always welcome.

That last one is my favorite too! They are all really cool.

I visited this place once many years ago and it wasn't like this wish it had been, now off to see the B/W's

Thanks. They only keep the road from the south entrance to the Rim Village open in the winter. Rim Drive is used as a skiing/snowshoeing route. Unlike Yellowstone, snowmobiles are prohibited, so there is nothing to disturb the peace and quiet once you get away from the parking lot.
