It's mostly antique. The price tag on the box is from a store that's been closed for 45 years. My Aunt first brought this out on Christmas when I was a very young child. My Uncle was born in Sweden and had one very similar when he was a child. Each year it was my job to put it together and I almost always burned a finger in the process. When I moved out, my Aunt sent it along with me. Over the years a couple of pieces turned up missing but I found one online that I used for parts. It's such a simple thing, but it always brings me right back to the wood paneling and red plaid sofa at my Aunt's house for Christmas.
