As previously mentioned, Tadoba is not just about tigers.
They are the home to the wild dogs or Dhols are they are called locally
they are a very hyperactive and ferocious bunch and the other denizens of the forest are very wary of them. Unfortunately I got them at a time when the light was poor, but I wanted to share with the forum the diversity of this wonderland
Thanks for sharing these, KD. I think you captured some of that ferocity especially in the second picture. I've never seen these these dogs (even pictures) so I appreciate you posting them! Still, nice images though the light was not ideal.

Maybe you can tell us about Tadoba, that would tell us about the dogs.
Tadoba Andhari Tiger Reserve is a tiger reserve in Chandrapur district of Maharashtra state in central India. It is notable as Maharashtra's oldest and largest national park. It is one of India's 43 "Project Tiger" - tiger reserves.(Courtesy Wikipedia)
It is known for its tigers, but also has slot bears, leopards, Gaur or wild buffaloes and wild dogs, which are very similar to the hunting dogs of Africa. The other herbivores are various types of deer, such as spotted, or Chittals, Sambar and barking deer. The forest has rich bird variety and many visitors come her just for the birds.
