I went hiking in the Narrows of Zion National Park. I was hoping that the shuttle was done for the season but they kept it going longer this year because it was busy in the park. This make hiking in there harder. You have to park at the visitor center, change into your wetsuit and booties then take a 25 min shuttle to the Sinawava temple parking, then hike 2 km to the mouth of the Canyon, then you can hike all day in the river. Even camp there if you want. I turned around after a few hours. It is a beautiful place, specially in Autumn. the colors bounce off the canyon walls, the cottonwood trees have yellow leaves and the river a nice green, turquoisy color.
A fun experience to hike in the Virgin River of Zion National Park, Utah.

These are all great shots. Not a bad one here.
I like your processing esp. in #3 shot. The dynamic range is difficult to manage and you've done a good job.
The water colors are alluring. Such a beautiful place.

Very nice. The 1st is my favorite. Did you wear dry pants and canyonering shoes, or just shorts and sandals?

Jim, i wore a wetsuit that i use for surfing in winter months with surfing booties. I also used it at Oneonta gorge in Oregon.

beautiful set Pierre.....couldn't make it out there this year but you caught two of my favorite places on that hike.....the alcove and the swimming hole.....

The shot with the sky is a 5 exposure blend otherwise it would be impossible to get details in the sky.
