From the look, I don't this kitty wanted to share Eric - very well done ~ Ron
No, he was cross as it was with another male leopard lurking close by...thanks Ron

His tummy looks full. But sharing is not his first choice.
Very nicely done. Very good eye contact.
~Mansur
Thanks Mansur...it was a very big warthog and this piece fell from the tree so it went to retrieve it...waste not want not!

What camo....
You really do like cats eating ungulates.
Wish I was there.
Don
You are right...it is so obvious how their rosettes work perfectly with the foliage...I didn't order up the warthog but I certainly wasn't going to pass it up...I actually prefer non feeding shots but the light was glorious....it's actually a perfect time for video.

Doesn't want to share or perhaps he may be still hungry and is sizing you up?!
Beautiful capture Eric.
~Greg
Thanks Greg...this is one cat I wouldn't want to mess with....they do make their feeling know with just a "look"

Thanks KD...a big male warthog is very dangerous....to have dispatched this is no mean fete.

What an impressive image, Eric! Indeed, it doesn't look like he feels like sharing the "rib" with anybody else but you stole some images of him - well done!
Joshua
Thanks Joshua...I did manage a few mega-bites...there is simply nothing like a big cat IMHO

You have to wait your turn Eric. I think it falls in place about the same time as the Vultures. I love the eye contact, the placement of the head and that you have the full body so nicely placed in the frame at a good diagonal.
Morris
Thanks Morris...I did pay close attention to compositional details and made sure to include the tail...easy just to zoom in but then something is lost.

Thanks Birdie...it was made plenty obvious who was top cat at the lunch table!

This is indeed a kitty that has no intentions of sharing, good shot Eric.
Thanks Louie...unfortunately another larger and slightly more fit big male made an appearance a few minutes later and either stole or reclaimed the kill....now that was one unhappy cat, drooling and uttering low rumbling sounds...fortunately not at me!

Great image the tail really blends in with the surroundings. Wouldn't want to be the one that tries snatching his lunch
Thanks Don...it is quite remarkable how such a striking looking animal can blend in....I certainly didn't attempt to steal the kill but another male leopard eventually did just that!
