I love both swan photos and the water in the air in the second is cool. Getting down low as you did might be the warm place with the show being at freezing and the wind above you. In any case Hawaii sounds a lot more plesent.

Well Morris it can't be worse than that first day at Jones Beach

Amazing set, Geoff! I especially like the Swan photos depicting the ice covering their bodies. After viewing I need a hot cup of tea, or maybe something stronger!

Brrrr! I am shivering just by looking at the pictures. We think it is cold here in SoCal when the temps dipped into some 10 centigrades a few days ago . Excellent images, Geoff but the first one is just lovely with subtle colors that convey the mood/cold temperature perfectly.
Wow.. that's dedication. I love it. My limit is usually -10 to -15C and that's still doing everything you do. I very recently purchased Swany Artic Mitts, so I'm excited to try these out in the field. Like you said, the fingers are the toughest to keep warm... and we need those to shoot with! Your images rock!

Thanks guys. My fingers had me almost crying in pain when thawing out in the car on Wednesday.
