Beautiful shots of a lovely place to drive. I was cleaning my lightroom catalog up from the last 6 years and found my shots from that road. Dallas definitely isn't Oregon

Sweet early fall color! #1 is the standout for me, a perfectly classic Oregon scene.

beautiful - it is not nearly as nice now tho snow is on the way...

how did you get stuck in Dallas?? (BTW it was worse when my grandparents lived there...)

you'll want to seek out the TX Hill Country, Guadalupe and Big Bend...

#1 and #3 work best for me. The only thing #3 is missing is my bike!

As for TX Hill Country I would seek out Round Mt/Llano/Fredericksburg for bluebonnets in April (this should be a bumper year for flowers), Coopers in Llano for BBQ and Gorman Falls in Colorado Bend SP is a nice shoot (which brings back good memories as our family ranch is about 5 miles from there!).
