I spent the weekend out and about in Albuquerque NM with my 7D II and 400 DO. I'd heard the Sandhill Cranes had landed in the Los Poblanos open space so I decided to go see what I could see.
There were plenty of Cranes around the area with some hanging around close enough for some good captures. After the open space, I drove down to the Rio Grande Nature Center to see what I could see. There were some Wood Ducks around by the visitor center (among other ducks and geese). I've always had a hard time getting a good Wood Duck photo...the one below turned out OK.
