Here is an informative article on Avian Botulism. One of the symptoms it mentions is the flaccid neck. In fact, a synonym for it is "Limberneck"

It's amazing the response I've received from the local agencies. They are acting quickly and I feel relieved that the local wildlife appear to have a helpful group thats dedicated in ensuring they thrive healthy at the reserve.

The local agency has requested the use of my photos for educational presentations, so as tough as it is/was to view these images, there is a bit of happiness knowing that at least they can hopefully be used for training those who care for our wildlife.
