Some call them Wild Dogs and others Cape Hunting Dogs but watching them hunt in a pack and take down and devour prey it is obvious they are no dogs....another moniker, Painted Wolves, seems much more appropriate....and evolutionary studies show their lineage split from dogs long, long ago.
