I couldn't wait for 3 weeks so I drove to Haines this morning to arrive at sunrise. I will drive home tomorrow and be back in a week and a half.

It was a slow day today but here are a few...

it might have been a slow day yet you came home with some excelent images and saw a lot more eagles than I did ducks

12800 ISO, how did that happen

...........by the looks of the f/stop and SS it was darn dark!

#3 has got some cool grit of attitude on this pose, I like the colors too in the BG, unique and sweet!

Thanks Karl. ISO 12800 happened because I drove a little too fast getting there

It's quite amazing what these cameras are capable of producing, ISO wise, now-a-days.

Thanks Joshua. Which photo are you referring to? After reading your comment I noticed some odd white blobs in the first one that looks like some bad jpeg compression artifacts. If you mean the horizontal white area in #3 that is snow I believe.

Thanks Ted. And no NR on that one other than the default chroma noise of 25 in LR.
