I was out testing my newly-acquired Nikon 24mm tilt-shift lens in my "back yard" yesterday and I came across this scene. Not too bad for a mid-day shot. I'll have to go back some morning or evening.

Tree and beautiful sky is great that make this photo alive
fore ground flower and back ground mountain bring new dimension of contrast

Hey Bob, a very nice shot of a very familiar area!

Before we went full time in an RV, we lived in Solvang and would often make the drive up into the San Rafael Mountains (especially for spring wildflowers).

Art, I'm just about to retire. We've got a new vacation trailer, and we're using it, but I'm too chicken to go full-time RVing. Sounds fun though.
