You never know what you may find while out on the beach. I wasn’t sure what was going on when I spotted a few eagles all in one spot on the beach but a quick look through the binoculars convinced me to drive in that direction. And sure enough I came upon a dead seal with an eagle going about his business.
Great behavioral shots Louie....it is quite amazing what one can see. I wonder if you get other scavengers like coyotes or foxes that might come in and take their piece of the seal pie.

That's why Benjamin Franklin didn't want the bald eagle as our national bird. It's a scavenger where as the wild turkey (his first choice) is much more intelligent.
