Marvelous set Roberta. I love the simplicity and creamy backgrounds of 3 and 5. You nailed the last and it's amazing how much blur there is at 1/400.

Looks like you are preferring the D500 to your D810 for this series. I take it the 300mm shots are with the prime and not your zoom?

Greatly appreciated Tony. Yes , the 300 are the prime. The 420 is prime plus 1.4 TC. Since the 500 is recently acquired , have been shooting it frequently. The auto focus is better than The 810

What a great series, Birdie! Are those rain drops in the last image? I watched hummingbirds bath in the rain in Costa Rica recently, similar to the last 2 of your images.
