Thank you all so much. I am sorry my replies have been so sparse. Busiest workshop season to date has kept me running. Winter will be better! I hope everyone is out there having a ton of fun, great experiences and getting nice images!

All around great image Mark! The clouds and lighting are what really make these types of shots in the deserts go to the next level. Every photograph benefits from the inclusion of water in its various forms and states, in this case vapor in the clouds. I was shooting once down in the SW in August back in the early 90's and had some monsoon cells pop up all around me. It can be a very nervous time as they barely miss you. I am sure your experience helped a lot with getting the right location.
