I got a Fotodiox. Looking at them both, I fail to see much difference. Plus, if the Fotodiox is a problem, I can return it to Amazon. It arrives Monday!

BTW - there was an earlier post regarding Leciaist adapters on ebay. They are advertised as working with the Techart Pro. I haven't ordered one yet and the prices are better than Techart's but still in the 40-50 range. I may yet order a Canon FD to M (24/2.8 and 50/1.4). I also have a minolta MD to M arriving later in the week (MD 35-70/3.5 macro).

The FD-M is worth getting from them as regular adapters have issues with TechArt.

I tried a regular EOS-M adapter and TechArt Pro worked with my Canon 200/1.8L lens! It's actually pretty fast AF.
It's a nice alternative when the lens AF motor dies.

Very cool! I also like the fact that I can use the adapter with all these lenses on my A-6300. AF is even faster than on the A7r2.

Well, it's locked down on my camera. I love the color rendering and depth this lens achieves. Color texture and separation is also amazing.

I just noticed that in movie mode, the camera switches to contrast detect and the adapter fails miserably.
So, movies only in MF with this adapter.

Late evening grocery shopping, having with me: Sony A7r2 + TECHART PRO LM-EA7 adapter + Leicaist MD-L/M adapter + MINOLTA MD 24-35/3.5 lens, focal length in Exif set to 24mm, IBIS ON, Auto, and AF in use, f/3.5.
He is slicing a sausage. She notices I am taking pictures of the store, walks over, puts her arm around him, and says:"Why don't you take a picture of us?"

With the Canon 200/1.8L, do you mount the lens on a tripod and the Techart moves the camera back and forth to focus?
I am wondering what the realistic upper lens weight limit is for hand holding the camera. Of course if I can just hold the lens, then could use many lenses that weight over 700g

I've read that there are two different mAh-rated Sony-branded batteries (not sure if it's accurate). Are yours 1020?

Both ways work, on tripod or handholding. Focusing is pretty fast as well with f/1.8 aperture.
Of course this only makes sense if the lens AF motor breaks and there are no replacement for it. (This lens is no longer serviceable)

That's what I'm getting. Zero drain. I'm also only using OEM batteries.
