I believe bluetooth is for firmware updates only.

Worth mentioning again that you can AF most any MF lens with this adapter - just get an adapter to M mount and you can AF your manual LTM, Canon FD, Nikon F, Olympus OM, Pentax K, etc lenses on your Sony.

I've read about this adapter enough and have been totally intrigued. I placed my order . . . finally.

I'll use this adapter initially with the following:

Voigtlander Ultron 35/1.7
Voigtlander Heliar 15/4.5 III
Minolta M-Rokkor 40/2

If this works well, I'd love to get adapter for my Contax Zeiss 35-70/3.5 and Leica R 28/2.8 E55.

I currently own two 50mm lenses: FE 50/1.4 ZA and 50/1.5C ZM. They couldn't be more different: Character vs perfection.

I just ordered the adapter as well and can't wait to try it on the 50/1.5C and take advantage of the closer focus distance. I will also try it on my Leica 90/2.5, Contax 100/3.5 and possibly Contax 100-300 if it's not too heavy for it. Almost forgot, I'm getting the 35/1.4 ZM again. I miss this lens too much.

Should I feel stupid now that I still prefer to use my M lenses with manual focus...?

And that I still use a $15 M-mount/NEX mount adapter piece for Leica M lenses 100x this adapter value?

Seriously, I think the Techart adapter is a good piece of innovation and might be useful for some photographers.

Seriously, I think it is good piece of innovation and might be useful for some photographers.

I'm still an MF guy . . . but I'm finding that as my eyes (note ONLY my eyes) get older, having AF as an option on quality glass is a plus.

This is obviously a tremendous innovation, but everyone should understand that at this point in time it does not work with several of the AF settings, such as Face Detect and Eye Detect. If Techart can implement that, I will be the first in line to get one.

I'm pretty sure it works with face detection. (definitely not EyeAF yet)

So, with wide angles and slower tele lenses like the 85/4 ZM or Contax 100/3.5, face detection is all that's needed.
