Yup, it's listed on Samyang's site. Just interesting that none of the news sites I checked (including DPR) caught that detail .

I wonder how it compares to the Nikon 20mm F/1.8 G lens. Really nice lens.

If you have to stop it down to f/2 like the Samyang 24mm, I don't see adding this prime to my already full bag. I have the Tamron 15-30mm which is a great wide zoom with very little coma.

After shooting the Voigtlander 15 in emount for the last week, I do not want anther dumb lens. I like exif data too much, even with a manual focus only lens.

I doubt it-- they don't have CPU chips on their MF Canon (or any other mount) lenses as far as I know.

Their 135/2 in F mount is chipped, supporting open-aperture metering and EXIF data.

A true FE mount full frame version of that would be amazing!!

I think it would be a true must have, just as the 12/2 is for crop sensor users.

Indeed. Every time there's an announcement like this I get excited-- then I notice they're making it for every mount under the sun. Then I lose some (not all) of the excitement knowing the FE version will just have a built-in adaptor, and will therefore be longer and heavier and less ergonomic on the system. Then I check the specs-- and it's all true. Instead of 86mm, it's 114mm long.

It is great to have yet another option. And it's great to have a fast, wide, relatively cheap option. No complaints. But the Batis 18 and Loxia 21 and CV 10, 12, 15 have spoiled us with what you can get when you design without an empty tube included.

Interesting. I wasn't aware of that.

I did briefly look into whether you could buy chips for Sony FE. That, or buy Canon versions, Canon chips, and use an EOS -> NEX/EF AF adaptor to pass EXIF if for nothing else than to set IBIS focal length and record EXIF in files to know what lens was used.
