The lens is glorious for people for sure--kudos above ^^^

I hadn't used mine in a while so took it for a short walk around the neighborhood. Just grabs, but I think does underscore the lens' character:

I got a free rental from my local store after picking up the Z8, and so I rented the 105/1.4 as it was on the short list of high quality portrait primes that could be had for a reasonable price. Took me an afternoon to go ahead and pick up a used copy on MPB (selling for just $1,049 right now, which is amazing). I've only taken a handful of quick shots of my son so far, but already I'm in love with the way this lens draws. Here's a couple from my testing, on the Z8. The last one wasn't meant to be great art, just testing what could be done wide open near MFD.

Just received this lens along with the 28 1.4, 35 1.4 and 58 1.4 on a z8. These will be my autofocus lenses. They're all rather large with the adapter, but love the rendering. First quick snap from the back yard.
