I was able to spend delightful 7 days in Katmai earlier in July this year, it was truely an outstanding trip. This was my second time back and I hope I am able to repeat heading back often. I have been passively enjoying everyone's great captures here for the past few months, work has kept me very busy, and finally have a opportunity to share one of my fav so far from the trip :

Dancing bear & Flying fish

5DIII, 100-400 II @ 400mm, ISO800, 1/400s

We stayed at the Katmai Wilderness Lodge and had a great time as well. Wonderful image--Paul

That is one gnarly old bear with wonderful expression and some deep scars.
