The lens is the Tamron 150-600mm f/6.3 and the teleconverter is a Sigma DG 1.4x. Both of these are hand held seated in a chair. The ISO is higher with the teleconverter.

I wouldn't have expected this, but the second looks sharper. Is it in the original processed file?
I prefer the head position as well in the second.
Manual focus?

Well done.

Both look very good Paul. It's funny, I use a Tamron TC with my Sigma lens.

I like the TC version better also, Ron. I have been lifting weights regularly and I am steady enough now to use it. I had thought it was a waste of money. I imagine a 2x TC would work with the D7200.--Paul

I just processed a nother image without the TC which may have been a little sharper than this one. The shutter speed is much slower with the TC so you have to be very steady.--Paul

I don't know why I bought the Sigma TC, Morris. I was reading their advertising and it sounded good.--Paul

These are both autofocus shots, Scott. The autofocus is slower with the TC and if you are not steady it will hunt.--Paul
