Fluid Dynamics, well named thread Morris. The first has lots of "dynamic" energy for sure. The second reminds me of your longer exposure bird photos ("lavender terns" I think) with a little abstract artistic motion blur "Morris Style". Welcome back, nice set.
Thank you Chris,
I love doing in camera effects. If you look through my web site you will see I've been doing blurs of birds in flight for a very long time and I'm shore have contributed to the current fad.

Nice set Morris. Love the abstract feel of the second one.

Thank you Roberta
Removing the canyon walls in the second took a so so photo and turned it into a beauty.

Morris, I like them all, but #1 stands out for me. You don't see water shot at this shutter speed too often, and it really came out nice.
Thank you Dale,
I wanted to go slower for the first and had an issue with my polarizer. A fast shutter worked though I liked this in between even better as it provides some of the blur and some of the frozen work, a nice mix as you point out. I'm going to experiment with this more when I have the opportunity. This was very fast water.

Well executed Morris, but now I have to go to the bathroom...

Thank you Ron,
And you are not dealing with the sound of the running water as we did for the whole afternoon.
