Caught this guy a few weeks back. He unexpectedly buzzed by a few times while I was under some trees.

I must say, I think my little 70D + 100-400II locked on and held on to him pretty well.

Not that the last shot is all that great but I was impressed with the AF lock.

Thanks Ron. I know these aren't all that great but its been awhile since I posted here and was impressed on how well the focus locked and held on.
Something most of you folks already have experienced but it was the first for me.

I have a ton more bird images I need to share here.
And I promise they are MUCH better than these.
