Took these this afternoon, as the hummers were feeding at the Bee Balm. Can't wait till other plants in the garden begin to flower, need some variety!!

Nice captures, something you might want to remember in the future, backgrounds can make or break an image. The flower needs to look as good as the hummer.

Thanks Ted, and totally agreed. I find that their favourite flower in my yard is the Bee Balm, which in my experience the blooms don't seem to last very long. Hopefully the torch flower and a few others will bloom soon, and work a little better.

Hi Don,
Nice set.

I wish the bee balm would bloom later than it does because when my hummers are most active is when my bee balm doesn't look as fresh as I would like it when they are here.

If you dead head them, more smaller buds will come.

I agree, my hummers come because of my tall red bee balm. That flowers is what attracts them to my garden.

Yes, we always need back up flowers so they will stay around!
