I just joined and have to say that this looks like a nice place to be! I used to be into photography as a hobbyist for a number of years but stopped about 4 years ago. I got a new camera yesterday though - a Canon 80D (my last camera was a 40D). I have a lot to learn on the new camera and a lot to learn on Photoshop and Lightroom. I never did learn Photoshop correctly when I used to use it years ago, I just winged it. I don't want to just fall back into my old habits). I'm feeling a bit overwhelmed but I'll start with my camera manual today . Here's my first shot with the new camera. I hand held it - I should have dug out my tripod. You got it! Welcome to the Forum Amanda. Nice shot. I like how you framed it. Detail look clean, considering this was shot at ISO 3200. You also seem to have a steady hand considering this was shot at 1/80 sec.
Keep shooting and keep posting . You'll fin a lot of help and support

Yes a beautiful shot, the soft light helps the image .Photoshop, Lightroom and a new camera, all at the same time, you truly must be a glutton for punishment
I'd say too you have a good eye for an image as well, considering what this looks like.
Take your time, and lots of images, and don't be afraid of asking lots of questions, theres bound to be someone here who can answer them. Looking forward to more.
