Not much one can think of missing from the camera. As usual most of the Fuji photographers are event/street types. I'm really wanting to see an improvement from the X-T1 in regards to birds in flight. The X-T1 performs admirably on slow to moderate subjects but fast moving smallish birds like puffins in flight are next to impossible. I'm heavily invested into Fuji so this camera will be in my bag as soon as I can get my hands on it. Looks promising.

It all sounds good. Looks solid now people can't really complain about megapickles.

I'll probably rent one once lensrentals gets them in-stock.

It looks good. It's a bit more expensive than I was anticipating though.

By Fred Miranda. It's standard pratice for him to assume authorship of the first thread on an official release announcement.

He doesn't say a lot that would convince me, and that's me personally, of paying the price.

The 24MP really is the selling point* - the locking dials and flash system? Not so much.

I'll wait for some serious AF torture test results.

*The UHS II slots are attractive too.

Was hoping for $1399 body only, but otherwise a very solid upgrade. I've been waiting for someone to make a dual hinge rear LCD for years (benefits of low portrait shooting without the drawbacks of an off center fully articulated screen)..great to see Fuji do it.

I'll probably sell my X-T1 and X-E2 and pick one of these up eventually.

Yeah I didn't want to comment about the review. It's not how or what I shoot so the review doesn't mean a whole lot to me

Good to minus 10 degrees C?
Will it freeze up when it gets really cold? Would make it useless 1/3 of the year where I live and totally worthless in really cold places.

I wouldn't worry about that too much. I've used my X-E2 and X100/X100S in temps down to -30 C. Battery life and avoiding condensation when bringing it inside are the main issues.

This is actually better than many camera's. The Nikon D5 and Canon 1DX, for instance, have operating environments of 0-40 (centigrade). Part of it could be related to batteries.

The new f/2 WR primes look interesting and might convince me to jump back into Fuji. I wish the 50mm was a 55-60mm, though.

Here's my old 1DII after a cold shoot in 2009. Still worked just fine. It was rated to 0 deg C.
