Very nice portrait, but for this subject I think it is just a tad too sharp. Personally would prefer a slightly softer image.

Thanks Fred, I appreciate your comment. When you say too sharp, do you mean I should add a soft filter or some sort (either to the lens or in post)? Or do you mean it is too high of a contrast for a subject who is a small child? This is actually a revision post-processing, where I tried to boost more contrast and bring more focus to her face. My original version is less contrasty, and I'm trying to see if this is what you meant:

I meant too high a contrast for this lovely child. The second version you posted (the original) is a more pleasing one for my eyes.
