Just a quick selfie with the wife and pending baby... Found out in February that we're expecting our first and then found out on Saturday that it's a little girl. We're excited to bring in little Adelaide to the world in November. To celebrate and, well, because pending grandparents requested, we set up the tripod and snapped a photo of our new favorite kid (and us).

Sleepless nights, here we come! C&C welcomed and appreciated, of course.

P.S. My wife still shoots film with her Hasselblad and a couple of lenses (bless her heart) and she looked at the photo and said, "Whatever camera that is, it has that 'Hasselblad' look."

I think I might have another Sony convert in our house soon.

Love the picture, congratulations!!!

As for C&C, I really like the concept and execution. My question though is am I seeing a couple green circles near the middle of the picture? Intentional?

And no... The green circles weren't supposed to be there. I copied over another edit/action from Photoshop that I used on another image and I guess it transferred with it. Thank goodness for layers and thanks for pointing it out!

Congratulations! First babies are a venture into the unknown. I think she looks like her mom ;-).

Don't let her hear you use the phrase "bless her heart" to refer to her. I saw a T shirt at St. Simons last weekend that had the phrase printed on the front.

I know your wife will want to capture tons of photos of Addie. Here's the perfect way to let her stay with the familiar, yet move into the digital world!
