We're finishing up 3+ weeks in Iceland and Svalbard.
In Iceland I wanted to enjoy and image the landscapes.
In Svalbard I had one goal=Odobenus rosmarus
It took several trips, many trips were thwarted with weather, trip cancellations (it is the true Arctic after all and the weather is its own boss)....but on the last day we visited two colonies.
I've wanted a Walrus for a long time, maybe a spirit animal? I do seriously respect an animal that even most polar bears leave alone.
Not the greatest image and please no C/C. I was just glad to be in their presence for a couple of hours-

Thank you Morris. We were easily within safe distance....they move very very slowly and unless you block access to water they had no fear. Probably my trip highlight.
