I came upon this patch of flowers the other day at the Tulsa Garden Center. Most of the flower heads of this variety were closed. A few were slightly opened. This was the only one that had popped open. It made me think of the word spring quite literally:

Thank you, Morris and Ken! Yes, they are not at full bloom at all. Only this one had popped out of its casing. I should head back to check progress but the temps have dropped thirty degrees and rain has been off and on the past couple of days. A good time to work on the rest of the pics!
