Quality set! To to raiding owl, the gnatcatcher was, in a bit of irony, like a mere gnat. Well done!!

Kcollet - yes the gnatcatcher parents dive bombed the owl for as long as I stayed after the event, but it didn't even bother the owl really, but anytime I see a barred around they are always getting chased by birds this time of year with nests around.

Great set, all are excellent but the low angle whitewater action in 11 stands out.

Slow internet connection makes it hard to keep up here but I'm really glad I checked these out. Fantastic captures, each and every one! I'm another osprey fan and these are really a treat, but really they all are!

Thanks for taking your time to look at my photos...

I didn't mention, but all except for the pelican were taken with a d7000 I bought for $325 on craigslist. obviously the lens is a little more special.

Killer photos! I particularly like seeing the owl/ gnatcatcher photos. Makes the owl seem like a giant!
